These are rules concerning your in character posts.
General Roleplay Rules:
1. Absolutely no powerplaying or godmoding. Powerplaying or godmoding is when you control another person's character.
2. Your character is not perfect, every character has flaws, just like every human being has flaws.
3. No powers/wings/jewelery/odd colours etc.
4. Try to keep the genders and colours of the wolves balanced. We don't only want snowy white females.
5. No chat language in roleplay.
6. Try your best to spell correctly, although a reasonable amount of typos are accepted. I myself am haunted day and night by the typo demon.
7. Remember to roleplay in the past tense.
8. Second Password: Elephants
9. Try to be as realistic as possible.
Fights:
1. The winner(s) of a fight will be determined by an admin when they deem the time right.
2. If your character is killed in a fight, simply create another to replace them.
3. If two males are fighting over a female, the female may choose her mate despite the winner, although do remember that they would usually go for the victor.
4. No powerplaying! -pokes rule 1 in General Roleplay rules- Every attack during a serious fight must be an attempt. eg. Angela leapt at Barny, attempting to claw his cheek.
Then Barny can decide whether Anegela's attack worked, or whether he somehow managed to dodge.
5. You may not dodge every sinlge attack thrown at you, as this gets extremely boring. An admin will inform you if you are doing this unreasonabley.
6. Both male and female wolves may challenge another wolf over a mate.
7. Whole packs may fight over territory, hunting, insults etc. If a pack loses a fight over a territory, they will be driven out by the victor pack. The same rules as single fights apply to pack fights.
Packs:
1. Packs can only be formed by mates, they can't be formed by single wolves. However, if an alpha position is challenged and taken over by another wolf, and the mate of the previous alpha does not wish to take up with the new one and leaves, single alphas are allowed.
2. Packs may have up to four members, not including pups born within the pack.
3. The first couple in the pack will be the alpha pair, however this position may be challenged by others.
4. Packs may have a 'base' which they will likely guard against other packs. However, packs may only claim claimable lands. Claimable lands will be marked with a (cb).
5. The alphas of a pack may decide which wolves gain which rank.
Ranks:
Dragga/Drappa - The dragga is the alpha male and the drappa is the alpha female. The alphas are either the wolves that formed the pack, those wolves offspring, or the wolves/wolf who have taken over from the previous alpha. Alphas lead hunts and have dominance over other wolves in the pack.
Beta - The betas are chosen by the alphas. They may be two mates, or there may only be one beta. The betas take over if the alphas die, and show dominance to other wolves within the pack apart from the alphas.
Pack Member - Most of the other wolves in the pack are simply pack members. They help with hunts and other tasks, and have some say in the packs decisions.
Omega - This is the lowest ranking wolf. Not all packs have an omega. The position of an omega varies, depending on the other members of the pack. In the slightly harsher packs, they sleep apart from the rest of the members, eat last, and must pay the utmost respect to others. Sometimes, other wolves will take out pent up rage or frustration on the omaga. Omegas may not mate. If they do, it is the alphas choice on what happens to them and the pups they have.
