The crystal blue eyes of Cheyenne peered out from the darkness of the forest, surveying the scene for prey. A pink tongue ran over her teeth as she sank down on all fours, getting as low as her legs would allow. Her upper lip curled as she spotted her prey: a fallow deer. Hunger growled inside the Fae as she slowly advanced towards the deer.
The deer seemed unaware of the female Wolf until she stepped on a twig, breaking the silence of the woodland. Knowing her hiding place had been given away the Fae snarled, leaping up to catch the large prey. Sinking her teeth into the deers rear end Cheyenne felt blood rush down her throat, her teeth stained red. The blood only whetted her appetite, and the fae sank her teeth even deeper into the deer. The deer buckled, falling over as Cheyenne released her grip and stood back to watch her prey die.
The deer let out a cry, warning others. Cheyenne snalred once more before putting the creature out of it's misery, sinking her teeth into it's neck. Pleased with her catch she dragged it towards the edge of the woodland, so she could eat in peace. Her ears pricked up as she glanced around the woodland for any other living creatures, wishing that she might have someone to share this meal with. Her eyes found none, so she hungrily began to eat the body of the deer. [/sup]

The Fae looked up, finishing her food. Her maw stained red, she dragged the carcass of her last meal into the forest, hiding it amongst leaves for others to find. It didn't have much left on it - only the head and half a leg. Cheyenne never had liked the idea of eating another creatures head.
She stretched out, her legs reaching out in front of her, before resuming her relaxed frame. She glanced around, thinking back to the meeting she had had with the other wolves. She distinctly remembers the first one she had met, Heron, and then two others. Her ears pricked up as she lowered her nose to the ground, seeking company. She found a scent, one that she couldn't identify, and began to follow it. A wolf's scent, maybe one of the ones she had met earlier. She followed the scent, leaving these hunting grounds to travel further afield. [/sup]
